cathARTic Exhibition

As We Are in partnership with the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and the City of Nedlands presented the third annual exhibition of rousing artworks from Western Australian artists who have an intellectual disability – ‘cathARTic’.  This inspiring exhibition featured artworks from 23 artists including the award winners, judges’ high commendation recipients and outstanding entrants of the 2015 As We Are Art Award:

The exhibition ran for five weeks from the 31 March to 2 May 2016, and included a diverse array of artworks including ceramics, paintings, drawings and collage.  Many of the artworks took inspiration from the Western Australian landscape, intimate relationships, and the artists’ love of nature and animals.

The exhibition was opened by City of Nedlands Mayor, Max Hipkins.
