Each year As We Are aims to host an annual forum for members of the Disability and the Arts Network on topics related to intellectual disability and the arts.  Speakers at previous forums have included professional Western Australian artists who have an intellectual disability, as well as representatives from Nulsen Disability Sevices, Tutti (SA), Mixed Palette Inc, Aspects of Kings Park to name but a few.  Forum themes have included artist production, funding, disability culture and the mainstream arts world, the art of belonging in a creative community, and the National Arts and Disability Strategy.

As We Are intends to host our next forum in 2022.  If you have any ideas or suggestions for a theme, speaker or venue, please contact the As We Are Coordinator at coordinator@asweare.com.au
