2020 As We Are Art Award – Entries Now Open!

The annual As We Are Art Award is a state-wide art award and exhibition open to all Western Australian artists who have an intellectual disability (aged 18+).

Entries can be in any art medium, though works are limited in size and weight: 1m x 1m and up to 5kg for two-dimensional works, and 0.5m3 and up to 10kg for three-dimensional works.  In 2020, artists will be invited to submit one entry, with all entries submitted the artists’ original works and produced in the 12-month period prior to the entry closing date.

For the third year running, the 2020 exhibition is being held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth, in their Level 2 Main Foyer.

Entry is a two-part process. Firstly, entrants are required to submit a completed Entry Form, and secondly, entrants are required to deliver their artworks approximately three weeks later (see ‘Key Dates’ section below).
